A New High Voltage Gain Active Switched-Inductor Based High Step-Up DC–DC Converter With Coupled-Inductor

This paper propounds a new high step-up DC-DC topology based on the active switched-inductor (A-SL) technique, which utilizes coupled inductor (CI) for performance enhancement. Among features of presented are following: (a) Better voltage gain (VG) and efficiency, (b) Since there low voltages across power switches, it is possible to reduce amount that lost as result using MOSFETs with rating reduced internal resistance, (c) By reducing turn ratio CI, VG enhanced, (d) Through series connection capacitor CI primary winding, zero DC bias achieved, core saturation problem solved, (e) Input current division between input inductors (f) There no limitation duty cycle ( $0< D< 1$ ), (g) Simple switching patterns simultaneously driven switches. The propounded converter’s operation principle steady-state analysis explained in detail, parasitic elements’ effects efficiency examined. In addition, VG, number components, tension diodes, capacitors compared analyzed. An experimental laboratory prototype 30V 400V output used verify validity study topology.
